It has always been a private space – me, a pen and a paper. Many a time, it was just an experience of holding a pen, staring at the paper and wondering ‘What’ and ‘How’. Years later, ‘those’ pent up emotions found a vent in the form of spontaneous expressions onto the paper. I wondered again, “Who flared up the flair?” Assured only of the divine grace and inspiration, I deny my little head’s pretensions. The zeal infused in the poems is the authentic assertions of my observations and experiences on diverse thematic concerns. The Seraph and the Cherub referred in the poems are my children whose ‘substance’ as children has left not only an indelible creative aura but also has given an impetus for research on Children’s Literature. The global Pandemic COVID ’19 is another phase that crystallized my poetic fervour, asserting the healing power of poetic diction. Besides these are the lavish poems that are born out of the strangeness that had puzzled me.
I hope that my assorted artefacts would give the reader an engaging and enriching reading that is created with a distinctive vision and voice.
