We are born, educated, employed, to have sound monetary backing, marry, get a family, and end up in a coerced satisfied life. Are we born just to perform this routine and bogusly satisfy ourselves by suppressing the ambition and passion, which we had in life? Isn’t a term called “Achievement” missing in this context? Certainly a big “YES” is the answer for this question.
In a typical Indian family there will be a kid who aspires to be a civil servant, few may aspire to be a pilot, and few to be a sportsman, and many as such. But do all the kids “transform” into what they ought to be? If they would have attained their goals then India would be ruled by efficient bureaucrats, obtained lion’s share in the Olympic games, and be a nation filled with enormous talents across disciplines.
But, reality tastes bitter. Where does the deviation from the goal start? Is it from their parents??? Or from the child ?? Or any other factors if so. Who resists their aim, ambition, and passion? Perhaps the better answer to questions is the “society”. “What will others think about me if I don’t clear or my son or
daughter doesn’t attain his/her goal??? “His son/daughter is drawing a decent salary .When will my son also to draw a decent salary”. “When will my son/daughter attain reach their destination”. There are very few questions arising in the society we live.
In this book, we will visualise why civil services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC CSE) is not yet another exam, but in a broader spectrum is a life science that builds the endurance factor, grit, a better planning ability, ignites the ability within an individual, teaches the appropriate, approach, develops patience, tolerance. To sum up how it teaches the best life handling skills and makes them better human beings will be visualised.
