Perumal Renganathan had his schooling in Musiri, Trichy District. He studied at Seshasayee Institute of Technology, Trichy in Tamilnadu and completed Diploma in Mechanical Engineering in 1986. Later on, he underwent one year Technician Apprentice training in BHEL, Trichy and finally settled in a Railway job in Kolkata. To augment his study in engineering further, he studied AMIE and passed out section ‘A’ in 90’s and due to the burden in workplace he discontinued section ‘B’ examinations.
After acquiring a long span of practical experience related to various engineering activities in a railway plant, the author intended to write a book on engineering that would benefit the students of B.Tech and Diploma to enrich their technical know-how. After putting a tireless effort, he succeeded in his mission and became the author of this book successfully.
