Lata Krishnan grew up in Kolkata, India and holds a degree in Commerce. She spent most of her adolescence reading the works of poets like William Wordsworth and Robert Browning which inspired her to start writing poetry and short stories. After finishing her education, she started working in a bank but continued to spare time for her passion in writing. Her work required her to travel to many cities within India and she tremendously enjoyed meeting various interesting people. Her writing is largely inspired from her experiences through the various phases of her life and her interactions with the different personalities she encountered. Apart from writing, she also enjoys gardening, travelling and exploring nature.
